Well, how about a game of Flappy Bird on a mobile point-of-sale (MPOS) terminal? You can now search with emoji for businesses on Yelp

If you find typing too much of a hassle, Yelp has the solution for you: emoji. The US-based business review site has just launched the ability to let you search for local businesses on its platform using emoji — the small, cartoon-like figures most often used when typing on a mobile device. Yelp’s move probably speaks to the fact that its users are increasingly accessing its site via mobile  – and it is seeking ways to make it more convenient for them. For proof of the popularity of emoji, Twitter has also just started showing emoji characters on its main Twitter.com website….

Facebook’s Pages Manager for iOS now lets you create and edit events on iPad, pin posts to the top

Facebook is making things easier for marketers by updating its Pages Manager app for iOS app with a few useful features. One of the biggest changes introduced is that you can finally create and edit events in the app on your iPad. Version 3.0 of the also app lets you pin and unpin posts to the top of your page’s Timeline, so admins can conveniently select which posts they want to highlight. They can also turn photos on their page’s timeline and photo albums into profile pictures with just a tap of the button. Interestingly enough, the changelog for the updated app…
