Do you love LeBron James? I mean, really love the basketball superstar? Like, love enough to stalk his every move? Well, if you’re the owner of a Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note 3, or Galaxy Note II, you’re in luck. The LeBron app exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy line gives you wide access to the athlete’s life – as well as stats, videos, and photos of games. I love handwritten notes. The physical act of scrawling on a page helps me to process my thoughts and remember important information. When I’m sat outside or stuck in a crowded space, it’s also preferable to digging out my laptop. I’ve adopted Evernote, but my account quickly looks neglected as I inevitably steer back towards a familiar pen and paper solution. Occasionally I’ll transfer all of my notebooks across, either by using Evernote’s in-app camera or simply typing out the most important parts. It’s not ideal though and for months, I’ve considered buying an Evernote Smart Notebook by Moleskine (our…

MicrosoftVentures
Yesterday Microsoft Ventures London accelerator cohort took to the stage to showcase their businesses in front of some of the UK’s top VCs, investors, press and the wider startup community. The event was the first full complement to pass through the London accelerator program, although there was a pilot scheme last year culminating in a demo day in December. In celebration, Microsoft Ventures took the chance to announce a new deal with Level39 that will see it take up residence at the FinTech accelerator, and Level39′s startups get access to Microsoft execs for guidance and advice in use of technology, enterprise sales, finance and product development. Everyone is used to the good old point and shoot. But pointing and shooting inevitably involves more than that. It’s about framing and composition and judging the light and anticipating the right instant to get your shot. Point and shoot is work. But what if you could just fire up a video recorder, capture some footage, and then pick through a series of the best still photos from it without stressing? That’s the concept behind Vhoto, a free social photo sharing app for iOS, launched today. Choose a video. You can shoot directly from the app or you can import existing video…

ParkJockey, a service for finding a parking spot with the minimum of fuss, has launched in London today with the promise of cutting down the hunt for a vacant spot to two minutes or less. Available as a native iOS or Android app, the service lets users search for nearby spaces, compare prices, and then book and pay for the spot all within the app. Additionally, ParkJockey can also sync with your calendar and can estimate driving time and things like the walking distance from where you’ll be leaving your car to your next appointment. While it’s by no means the first service…
