What are you doing on Sunday? Whatever the answer is now, you might want to consider dropping in on Flickr’s global photo walk, a celebration of the online photo service’s 10th anniversary. On Sunday, May 4th, Flickr estimates that over 1,000 people in more than 60 regions across 20 countries and five continents will participate in the event. Coinciding with its 10th birthday and the photo walk, Flickr has also debuted a complete overhaul of the Flickr blog, which has showcased and shared community images. Microsoft today detailed what’s coming in the next Xbox One update, which will be largely focused on audio features. New features include a Sound Mixer for apps with Snap, volume controls when chatting with Kinect, and an opt-in to help improve speech recognition. First up, the new sound mixer will let you control the volume levels of two apps when you’re using Snap. Apple acquires LuxVue and its highly efficient micro-LED screen technology

Apple has confirmed that it has acquired LuxVue, a company stealthily working on display technology that could potentially extend the battery life of new devices. Apple and LuxVue are both mum on the specifics of the acquisition. But, TechCrunch reports that LuxVue will be added to the hardware innovations area.
