Wikimedia has been thinking hard about how to better humanize it’s editable encyclopedia, with a project kicking off last September to try with the aim of showcasing the humans behind the articles. Today, the company has taken the wraps off a new mobile design that puts the emphasis on how recently articles have been edited and who was the last human to edit them, in an attempt to surface the humans behind the vast amount of content on the site. About a month ago, a subset of Instagram users noticed something a little unusual when snapping Lo-Fi shots of their coffees.
