Most people play games like Dungeons & Dragons to get away from their problems. But Megan Hardy isn’t most people. She used it to solve hers. When her husband was laid off in 2016, she signed up to teach D&D classes on Outschool, an online learning platform for kids up to age 18. Hardy told TNW “I was just trying to think of some way to make ends meet. I thought maybe a handful of kids would be interested.” She was wrong in the best possible way. Hardy’s classes were an instant hit and proved incredibly popular with both children…

Disney’s finally lifting the veil on its Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attraction set to debut at Disneyland on May 31. And while we were all expecting a glut of rides and properly attired characters roaming about, its the souvenirs that have us most excited. Who goes to Disneyland just to buy overpriced souvenirs aimed at drooling tourists? Normally that sentence would have answered the question it asked. In short, the entire concept of a flagship phone became… I’m not sure redundant is the right word, but perhaps blurred? Take the Honor 20 series, for example, which Huawei announced today at an event in London. The top-tier…

We’ve allegedly had our first look at what Sony‘s next-generation PlayStation console will be capable of doing — and, unfortunately, what we saw didn’t show us much of anything except that the PS5 will be able to run PS4 games very well. That’s great for backwards compatibility, but it doesn’t tell us as much about the PS5’s capabilities as we’d all like. The footage comes from Wall Street Journal tech reporter Takashi Mochizuki, who appeared to take the footage at a management meeting showing off the new hardware. The presenters compared the performance of last year’s Spider-Man game on the PS4…

AI is becoming increasingly widespread, affecting all facets of society — even Sonic drive-ins are planning to implement artificial intelligence to provide better customer service. Of course, every time a new innovation appears in the realm of AI, fears arise regarding its potential to replace human jobs. While this is a reality of adapting to a more tech-driven society, these fears tend to ignore the collaborative and job-creating attributes that AI will have in the future. The future’s most successful businesses will be those that learn to combine the best attributes of machines and human workers to achieve new levels…
