Microsoft Research today launched Code Hunt, a browser-based game for anyone interested in learning how to code by playing. The premise is straightforward: the player must write code to advance in the game. The built-in tutorial introduces you to the game: Greetings, program! You are an experimental application known as a CODE HUNTER. You, along with other code hunters, have been sent into a top-secret computer system to find, restore, and capture as many code fragments as possible. eBay launches Spanish and Portuguese versions for Latin America

eBay today announced the availability of new Spanish and Portuguese versions of its popular shopping website to better reach customers in Central and South America. Now when they visit eBay.com or use eBay mobile, they’ll be treated with an experience more catered to their specific markets. Other than being able to browse the website in their native language, shoppers in the region will also now be able to view local promotions and deals, while prices will now be shown in their local currency instead of US dollars. Apple releases OS X 10.9.3 with improved 4K display support and USB contact, calendar syncing

Apple today updated OS X Mavericks to version 10.9.3, adding better 4K display support for late 2013 Mac Pros and 15-inch Retina MacBook Pros, and re-introduces the ability to sync calendars and contacts between an iOS device and a Mac over a USB connection. The new release also addresses with VPN, Font Book, SMB file server permissions, network home directories, configuration profiles and Active Directory groups. Adobe restores Creative Cloud services after extended outage [Update]

Adobe has reported on its @AdobeCare twitter feed that Creative Cloud services, which had been down for more than 24 hours, have now been restored. According to a series of tweets: “Adobe ID issue is resolved. We are bringing services back online.
