TeeVee’s slick TV show-tracking app arrives for iPad with a slew of fresh features

Torrent search engine Torrentz.eu forced offline following UK police request

With the likes of isoHunt shutting shop, and The Pirate Bay blocked by ISPs in some countries, the humble torrent has been facing a torrid time of late. And the landscape just got a little more ugly, with news that Torrentz.eu, one of the Web’s largest search engines for torrents, has had its domain name suspended. As TorrentFreak reports, the City of London Police has been working with copyright holders to “topple sites that provide or link to pirated content”, and the Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit (PIPCU) has now successfully made a request to take Torrentz.eu offline. SurveyMonkey CEO says Asia could be its biggest market, but an Android app is ‘critical’

In an interview with TNW on the sidelines of Social Matters in Singapore, SurveyMonkey CEO Dave Goldberg told us that the online survey tools provider is taking steps to “make Asia what could be (its) biggest market eventually” — namely localization, as well as a launch for Android which dominates over iOS in many parts of the continent.
