Surface-11-798x310
Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 event earlier this week showed the company at its strength. For the first time in many years, it’s got most of its ducks lined up; hardware and software finally in unison. Yet, the company still finds itself in a losing battle against Apple in the tablet world and fighting ever declining PC sales. Despite Microsoft being in perhaps its best position yet, its event this week showed that the way it is going about selling the Surface is still problematic. It’s still failing at the tablet war and the Surface Pro 3 might not be the…

Apple requests retrial to squeeze more money out of Samsung

Just when you thought that the Apple v Samsung case was finally over, Apple has requested a retrial to attempt to increase the damages the Korean-based company has to pay as well as attempting to get Samsung sales halted in the US. da bomb
Corey Eastman is a Director at Climax Media, a digital technology agency who specialize in building customized platforms for enterprise clients. For many of us working in projects daily, life without request for proposals (RFPs) can be practically unfathomable. Although it would certainly be simpler, it would also remove what appears to be a crucial process in evaluating suppliers for projects. As Adweek highlights, a study of brand executives found that 42 percent of respondents found the current agency search process to be time consuming, and 28 percent saying “you’re told so many things that you’re not sure what to believe.” Let’s…

LG confirms its upcoming G3 smartphone will have a 5.5-inch screen with video teaser

LG has posted a video touting the “grip-ability” of its upcoming G3 flagship smartphone which confirms that it will come equipped with a 5.5-inch display. Posted to YouTube by the official LG Mobile Global account, the video stops short of revealing any other details – such as the resolution of the display – but the clip suggests its reasonably large screen will come in a relatively small chassis. A smart move for a larger device, no one likes an oversized bezel that makes it hard to hold. While there have been a number of leaks ahead of launch, this is the first…
