David Spinks is the CEO of CMX Media and host of CMX Summit, the premier resource and event for the community industry. He also writes at WhatSpinksThinks. This post originally appeared on the CMXHub. Back in September last year, we brought you news on London-based startup Grabyo launching a video clip-sharing service in cahoots with BSkyB, which was later used to broadcast snippets of Champions League football action. In a nutshell, Grabyo’s technology makes it easier for companies to grab (hence its name) and edit clips from their own videos, to share across any social channel in real-time. The result should look a little something like this: Video: If you’re going there @djokerNole, you need to buy a ticket! http://t.co/RhGoMb7gQW — TennisTV (@TennisTV) May 17, 2014 Now, as we near the start of a…

Apple is reportedly again coming under fire in the European Union about how it uses the Irish county of Cork to allegedly avoid paying taxes, according to an RTE report. According to RTE, the Competition Commissioner Joaquin Almunia will make an announcement about the investigation tomorrow. A Committee spokesperson declined to comment to Reuters about the RTE report. Apple was previously investigated in the United States about its use of technicalities in the Irish and US tax code. In terms of new features, this is a relatively minor release, especially when compared to the major revamp that came as part of Firefox 29. Mozilla has been mainly…
