The feature is called GitHub Sponsors, and works similar to funding platforms like Patreon. This allows you to sponsor the work of developers and content creators by paying them a monthly donation. AT&T now accepts cryptocurrency, and it’s probably a bad idea

American cell network operator AT&T has announced it’s accepting cryptocurrency as an online payment option. AT&T says it will be offering the payment method through cryptocurrency payment services provider BitPay. The mobile carrier will allow customers to pay their bills online in supported cryptocurrency, although it doesn’t say which. However, as the payment service is offered by BitPay, it’s likely all major coins will be catered for. It also claims it’s the first major US mobile carrier to provide a cryptocurrency payment options to customers. SpaceX successfully launches 60 of its Starlink internet satellites

After a few delays, SpaceX finally launched the first 60 satellites under its ambitious Starlink project today. The company’s rocket Falcon 9 lifted off at the scheduled time of 2230 ET. These satellites will be operational in an orbit 500 km from the surface of the earth. As Space.com noted, this is SpaceX’s first particular rocket that has managed to successfully land back on a pad after the launch for the third time. It’s also the heaviest payload Falcon 9 has ever carried (13,607.771 kg approx). Starlink satellites have a lightweight (227 kg) flat-panel design that allows SpaceX to stack them…

Top 100 dapps: Ethereum is for gaming, EOS and TRON are for gambling

Gambling persists as a primary use case for “the blockchain” into 2019, with almost half of the top 100 decentralized apps (dapps) still betting-related. Blockchains EOS and TRON have also solidified themselves as competitors to Ethereum this year.
