Twitter acquires mobile ad-buying platform TapCommerce to bolster its ad strategy

Today Twitter announced that is agreed to acquire mobile-advertising firm TapCommerce. This is the second bit of advertising news from the social network today. The first being it was opening up Mobile App Promotions to all advertisers. Microsoft today flipped the switch on its new Xbox.com profile pages for Xbox One gamers. The new feature creates a profile for your Xbox One activity, including achievements, friends and game clips.
