Office Lens for Windows Phone updated with improved document clean up and OneNote location picker

Microsoft today updated its Office Lens app for Windows Phone with two new major improvements. You can download the new version now directly from the Windows Phone Store. First off, Office Lens has received a better document cleanup system, to the point where Microsoft claims you can now use the app “as you would a real document scanner.” Next, Office Lens now lets you choose where to save your images (notebook and section) in OneNote, rather than forcing you to stick with the default. Federal Trace Commission Makes Announcement Regarding Their Investigation Into Google

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) today announced mobile cramming operator Andrew Bachman has agreed to settle charges by surrendering more than $1.2 million in assets. While the settlement includes a monetary judgment of more than $97 million, it is partially suspended based on Bachman’s inability to pay the full amount, after he turns over nearly all of his assets.
