Google is teaming up with Barnes & Noble to cross over into Amazon’s turf with the introduction of same-day books delivery, the New York Times reports. The agreement, which NYT says will be unveiled on Thursday, will give book buyers in Manhattan, West Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area the option of same-day deliveries from local Barnes & Noble stores via Google Shopping Express. Trouble has been brewing in China since last month with several foreign internet firms experiencing accessibility issues in the country, including chat apps Line and Kakao Talk.
