Safello helps charities accept Bitcoin for free

Swedish Bitcoin exchange, Safello, has launched a free service that allows charities to receive Bitcoin for free. The new donation service is available in limited form and offers charities custom campaign pages that act in a similar way to Kickstarter but use Bitcoin to contribute and are completely free, with 100 percent of proceeds going to the charity. Initial uses of the service include projects to implement Bitcoin in Africa and give children in Uganda vaccinations as well as a group that is fixing bugs in Bitcoin itself. The latest version of Xiaomi’s MIUI software looks a lot more like iOS 7 than Android

Red hot Chinese smartphone-maker Xiaomi has announced a major upgrade to its MIUI Android software. MIUI 6, which will come to the company’s devices soon, bears more than a passing resemblance to iOS. It is certainly more Apple-like than the Google Android that we know, as Liliputing notes. MIUI is four years old, and Xiaomi says that it has 70 million users worldwide. Xbox One August update starts rolling out today, bringing new activity feed and mobile purchases

Microsoft promised a series of new features would land in its next Xbox One system update, and now users can finally get their hands on a newly-revamped activity feed and mobile purchases, among others. The update is rolling out starting today and over the next few days. This means users will see the interface of their activity feed change to a single column scrolling list that is “longer and includes more content,” and they can post text to their feed and like and comment on items.
