Sky News is on the way for Xbox 360 users in the US and UK

Xbox 360 users in the UK and US will soon be able to watch Sky News coverage directly through their console, as the media giant prepares to expand its footprint. Launching on September 9 for Xbox Live customers only, the Sky News icon will arrive in the TV section of the homepage, serving up a 24/7 live feed of news. There’s alarm clock apps that force you to spin around, and ones that require you to move closer to your router. Then there’s Wakie, an app that encourages random strangers around the world to wake you up with a phone call. Google today updated its sitelinks search box, used for searching within websites directly from Google’s search results. The company has made the search box more prominent (it is now above the sitelinks section), as well as added support for Autocomplete and the ability to send the user to the website’s own search pages.
