Big banks are launching a blockchain trade platform powered by ‘Bitcoin-like’ token

The banking industry is hell-bent on taking over the nascent blockchain and cryptocurrency market. A group of financial firms led by UBS Group AG is eyeing blockchain technology for settling cross-border trades worldwide with its own “Bitcoin-like” token. Trump administration’s latest move to vet people during the visa process is to ask for their emails and social media handles. And according to a report by Hill.TV, if you lie about your accounts, you can face “serious immigration consequences.” As an applicant, you can choose to not declare that you don’t use social media, but the authorities will perform a check to see if you’re lying.
