Skin conditions are a – pardon the pun – sensitive topic, so going to a dermatologist can be an intimidating experience. Now you can get your problems diagnosed online through Klara, an iOS and Android app that sends your photos anonymously to board-certified dermatologists who review your case. Germany-based Klara launched its service first in Europe before bringing it to the US this summer. The app has you take two pictures of your condition, fill out a questionnaire, and pay $39 for the consultation. Klara promises an answer in the next 48 hours. Home Depot confirms months-long credit card breach in its US and Canada retail stores

Home Depot has confirmed that it suffered a massive security breach that could impact “any customer that has used their payment card” at retail stores in the US and Canada since April. HomeDepot.com does not appear to have been affected. The company said it is still investigating, but it doesn’t believe that PIN numbers were compromised. Security researcher Brian Krebs originally reported the issue after seeing a batch of credit cards go up for sale on the black market. Twitch founder says streaming-service won’t become an Amazon storefront

Since Twitch’s acquisition by Amazon, there has been speculation (including my own) that the company would incorporate ads and links to games and consoles within streams. According to CEO and co-founder Emmet Shear, that’s the last thing he wants. At TechCrunch Disrupt, Shear also said that he believes it’s the last thing Amazon wants as well. Google Play Movies & TV for iOS now lets you download and play videos offline

Google today updated its Google Play Movies & TV app for iOS with offline playback. You can download the new version now directly from Apple’s App Store. The addition means you can now download movies and TV shows to your device, and then watch the videos on the go, even when you don’t have an Internet connection.
