Update: Ello is back. The company says the issue was resolved by blocking the offending IP addresses. Total outage time: about 45 minutes. Social networking site Ello went down hard today. The new service has been available for just over a month, but already it is running into problems that many social networks experience in their early days. Visiting any of the site’s pages currently results in the following error message: “The site is currently unavailable while we conduct some necessary maintenance.
