By now, everyone knows Frontback, the mobile app for iOS and Android that lets you use the front and back facing cameras on your smartphone to take a combined selfie-slash-atmosphere shot. Now comes Selfie Vista, its spiritual cousin. Selfie Vista, released for iOS today, also uses the front and rear facing camera, but in a different way. Unlike Frontback, both photos are taken simultaneously so that with one tap, you get a square collage containing both photos, specifically convenient for Instagram. Mailbox email app for OS X is now in open beta

We first tried out the OS X version of Mailbox’s popular email app back in August and thought it was a strong showing among the myriad of apps looking to make email more bearable. Back then, however, it was an invite only-beta. Today, it’s open to everyone. You can now make your own wall prints on Flickr

Though sharing images through digital media has become the norm today, some of us still appreciate having physical prints to decorate our homes. If you’re on Flickr, making your own wall prints may have just gotten a little easier. The image-sharing company today announced that it would begin offering both wood-mounted and gallery-style canvas prints. The prints will be offered in sizes from 8 x 10 to 20 x 30 inches. You can currently only make prints of your own photos, but it’s not hard to imagine that Flickr will allow photographers to sell their prints to others in the future. Could be worth…
