Attempting to purchase T-Mobile has been all the rage lately. The latest company to try and fail is Iliad. The French company announced today (PDF link) that it was dropping its bid for the carrier. Iliad states that at the end of July 2014, it offered to purchase 56.6 percent of the carrier and the T-Mobile board rejected the offer. Iliad is the third company to attempt to purchase T-Mobile. Dizmo_feat

Dizmo, a successfully funded Kickstarter campaign that aims to turn any digital surface into an interactive work space, has officially launched today, opening the platform up to the public for the first time. In a nutshell, Dizmo wants to draw together all the discrete Internet of Things and other digital devices and apps in your life to be manageable from one extended work space it’s called DizmoSpace. It’s not just a device or gadget management platform though, it’s a bit like a virtual pin board for anything you like – including working on documents, general Web browsing and anything else…

By now, everyone knows Frontback, the mobile app for iOS and Android that lets you use the front and back facing cameras on your smartphone to take a combined selfie-slash-atmosphere shot. Now comes Selfie Vista, its spiritual cousin. Selfie Vista, released for iOS today, also uses the front and rear facing camera, but in a different way. Unlike Frontback, both photos are taken simultaneously so that with one tap, you get a square collage containing both photos, specifically convenient for Instagram. In addition, Selfie Vista also features a collage for both orientations, depending on how you shoot the photo and whether you are holding…
