This is such a Dutch story. Netherlands-based band DI-RECT is crowdsourcing footage for its new video by asking people to upload their sex tapes. The project is billed as ‘the ultimate love tape, a visual experiment with real people, real love,’ and art director Omar Kbiri is keen for it not to be seen as something smutty. “I was mainly inspired by Cindy Gallop’s TED Talk on Make Love, Not Porn,” he tells us. “For us, it’s very important to create a video clip in the end that really is able to communicate true moments of love between lovers towards the audience.” If…

Microsoft releases Clutter, an automatic email filter for Office 365 business users

Microsoft today unveiled a new tool to help Office 365 people manage their inboxes, and they’re calling it Clutter. Clutter is basically a smart email filter that helps sort out your emails based on what’s most important to you. It takes advantage of Office Graph’s machine learning to decide which emails aren’t a priority, and automatically sort them into a fittingly named ‘Clutter’ folder. Clutter is disabled by default, but users can enable it from the Outlook Web App menu. Once enabled, users will see the new folder appear and it will start filtering out the emails that aren’t essential…

Google Chromecast gets family-friendly multiplayer gaming

Google has announced that the Chromecast app line-up now includes multiplayer games. The first set of titles includes family-pleasing fare like Wheel of Fortune, Scrabble Blitz and Monopoly Dash. The Chromecast games are available from Google Play and the iOS App Store. Among the highlights is the Norm, the “death to the thermostat” which controls your home’s temperature by relying on the network of sensors around the house. Amazon today unveiled the seven original shows that will be part of its lineup for its first pilot season of 2015 on Amazon Instant Video. The list consists of four hour-ong shows – Cocked, Mad Dogs, The Man in the High Castle and Point of Honor – as well as three half-hour shows – Down Dog, Salem Rogers and The New Yorker Presents.
