Hollywood’s industry body organization, the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), has launched a platform designed to highlight the ease of finding and viewing content legally online. WhereToWatch, along with a number of alternatives like CanIStreamIt, provides an easy way to find out if the movie or TV show you want to view is available to stream or purchase (download) online. UK operator GiffGaff is now offering customers 4G connectivity, from £12 per month

UK operator GiffGaff is now offering its customers the option of superfast 4G connectivity, more than a year after major networks introduced the networking standard. Nonetheless, GiffGaff customers will likely welcome the new faster options, which start at £12 per month for 1GB of 4G data and 500 UK calling minutes, and rise to £18 for 5GB of 4G data with 1,000 UK minutes. In addition to now supporting iOS 8, its app is now fully optimized for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, with the latter offering playback in 1080p resolution. Amazon plans Prime Air delivery drone tests in the UK

Amazon is planning to test its Prime Air delivery drones in the UK. A job ad seeking a flight operations engineer to work in Cambridge was posted last week. This summer Amazon asked the FAA for permission to conduct outdoor drone tests in the US. The Prime Air flight operations engineer will be responsible for acting as a safety observer during indoor and outdoor flight tests. They’ll also be responsible for ensuring safety policies are followed during tests and planning the evolution of the program. Apple in legal soup over missing text messages

Following a ruling in a California court on Monday, Apple may face a class action lawsuit over the loss of ‘countless’ text messages, caused by the company’s iMessage service. GigaOm reports that California resident Adrienne Moore filed a case against Apple back in May, on behalf of herself and other former iPhone users who missed text messages after switching to non-Apple phones. Her victory on Monday allows her to push forward with a class action lawsuit against Apple, claiming ““a tortious interference with contract”.
