Twitter plans to collect data on the apps you’ve downloaded to serve more targeted ads

Twitter’s going to be getting a little more nosy. According to Recode, the company is looking to collect more information about its users to make ads more effective. With an upcoming update to its mobile apps, Twitter will begin amassing information on what apps its users have downloaded onto their devices. This data can be collected on both Android and iOS devices – it runs a query for the names of the apps you have installed. It doesn’t however, look for data sourced from the apps themselves. Apple co-founder’s personal archive, including Apple II blueprints, will be auctioned next month

The two Steves (Jobs and Wozniak) may well be the best known founders of Apple, but Ronald Wayne was also instrumental in the earliest days of the company’s history. And now, he’s auctioning off his collection of private documents relating to those early days at the company.
