Vimeo launches new mobile site with Watch Later feature

Video-sharing service Vimeo has launched a new mobile site which strips back the navigation and focuses on full screen video playback. The video hosting site says it’s made a lot of changes under the hood to speed up performance on mobile devices. The other big change is a new Watch Later feature which will let you like videos and save them, even if you haven’t logged in. Once you’ve watched a video, you’ll be served up a selection of recommendations to keep your eyeballs locked on the screen. Snapchat now lets users and businesses create their own location-based geofilters

Back in July, Snapchat introduced a ‘geofilters‘ feature, which allowed users to place overlays over Snaps depending on their location. Today, Snapchat announced it is allowing users to create their own filters via a new Community Geofilters page. Artists are asked to choose where they want to make their filters available, and then upload an image to use as an overlay. The company’s text prediction technology, similar to what’s found in its consumer iOS and Android apps, has been integrated into the scientist’s system.
