Google Authenticator for iOS gets Material Design update

Google’s two-factor authentication app for iOS got a big update today that brings Material Design to the app for the first time, along with iPhone 6 and 6 Plus support. The app update features an overhauled design, bringing it in line with Google’s other Material Design style apps on iOS. It also now shows which website generated a verification code (a feature that was sorely missing before) and fully supports Apple’s new iPhones. With Gmail being so universally popular, it’s no surprise there are some malicious pieces of software that try to interfere with the platform. To help prevent this from happening, Gmail is now adding support for Content Security Policy (CSP). CSP is meant to stop malicious extensions from loading suspicious code that may mess with your Gmail session or jeopardize your email’s security. Google notes that this has happened with Chrome extensions in particular, and hence suggests you install the latest updates to your extensions on the Chrome Web Store to keep yourself safe. Apple halts online sales in Russia due to “extreme” Ruble fluctuations

A report from Bloomberg today says that Apple has taken its Russian online store offline due to “extreme” fluctuations in the Ruble. The Apple store page in Russia shows the “we’ll be back” message at time of writing. Apple said that the “online store in Russia is currently unavailable while we review pricing.” Russia’s currency has been fluctuating wildly in the past few days, losing as much as 19 percent today alone as the country increases its interest rate to 17 percent from 10.5 in an attempt to stop the crisis. Libscore helps developers determine which Javascript libraries are worth using
