T-Mobile must pay $90 million in refunds to settle FTC ‘cramming’ suit

T-Mobile and the FTC have settled the ‘cramming’ (adding unwanted third-party charges to a phone bill) suit brought against the carrier in July. The settlement requires T-Mobile to pay at least $90 million in refunds to customers who were unwittingly charged by third-parties. In addition to the refunds, T-Mobile must also pay $18 million in penalties to the attorney generals of all 50 states and the District of Columbia and $4.5 million to the FCC. FBI reportedly set to blame North Korea for the Sony hack later today

After nearly a month of debates and speculation about who is actually behind the devastating Sony hacks, it seems we’re finally starting to get some answers from more authoritative sources.  As some reports suggested after Sony cancelled the release of its upcoming movie The Interview, US officials have now found North Korea responsible for the attacks on Sony, according to Reuters.
