Looking for the lyrics of your favorite tunes? Well, Google now displays the lyrics to some of your favorite songs directly in the search results. Noticed by this Google+ user, when you search for the lyrics of some songs, you’ll see the result presented in a card-style format. This is probably bad news for sutes like Metro Lyrics and AZ Lyrics that have been the go-to resource for anyone wanting to practice their karaoke skills. Twitter adds mobile analytics to its official iOS app

Announced, fittingly enough, via a tweet, Twitter has unveiled that it’s adding mobile analytics to its iOS app. In order to view the analytics data, you simply need to update to the latest version of Twitter for iPhone, click on one of your tweets to get to its detail page and tap “View Tweet Activity.” You’ll then be presented with your standard fare of analytics information, including impressions and engagement, as well as additional information such as the percentage of people who have favorited your tweet or the number of folks visiting your profile through that tweet. Yahoo’s Aviate launcher for Android gets universal search

Yahoo’s Aviate, the Android launcher that serves you up a different homescreen depending on time and context, is today getting a small update to make it more useful. It now includes a universal search function to quickly look up your apps, contacts and Web results – powered, of course, by Yahoo. You’ll see the search results right in the launcher, so you needn’t open up a browser for just a quick search. Google finally has a fully functional prototype of its self-driving car

Google’s got AI lovers a little gift for the holidays – it’s finished the first complete prototype of its self-driving vehicle.
