Google’s just rolled out a new Chrome extension called Suspicious Site Reporter, that’ll help you report sketchy sites with just the click of a button. The extension will help you to stay away from sites that might steal your data or financial information. Google’s developed it to warn you of deceptive sites, and crowdsource a list of malicious websites through user reporting, in order to keep your information safe. The Suspicious Site Reporter extension will notify you when you’re browsing a possibly harmful website, with reasons it thinks it might not be safe. You can click on the extension to send…

Flexer charged with trafficking Bitcoin-purchased drugs in Australia

A man who frequently flaunted his wealth on social media has been found guilty of importing and trafficking drugs purchased with Bitcoin on the dark web. Brendan Leigh Baker, 27, a former cafe owner in Canberra, was found guilty in the ACT Supreme Court this week. According to a report, his most serious charge was attempting to import a commercial quantity of Methylone, a synthetic form of MDMA, which carries a maximum sentence of life behind bars. The case against Baker was centered around the testimony of a former drug dealer turned police informant who provided detailed evidence of the operation.…

Blockchain is one of the fastest growing skills among workers in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, according to a LinkedIn report published Wednesday. LinkedIn analyzed the skills listed by its members from the APAC region over the last five years to identify the top 10 rising skills. The report found blockchain to be the fastest growing skill in Singapore and among the top three in China, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Vietnam.
