The ‘Netflix for libraries’ app Hoopla is getting a major makeover

If you have  library card, having the Hoopla app and its access to your local library’s breadth of content is a bit of a no-brainer. But like all new apps, the first iteration has been a learning experience. Now it’s taking the feedback it received from users and libraries to update its app. Hoopla will be updating its app for iOS and Android on February 28 with what it calls its “LightSpeed” interface and architecture. Netflix has revealed its latest list of updates for March 2015 so if you’re planning on a TV binge, March may be the best time to get stuck in. There are  some controversial moves with big titles like ‘The Graduate’ and ‘Adventure Time’ (Seasons 1-4) getting dumped but there are a lot of new shows and movies on the way to fill the gap too. Twitter now has an official WordPress plugin

Twitter today announced that it’s releasing its first official Twitter plugin for WordPress that brings a bunch of Twitter functionality to your site easily. The new plugin brings a plethora of features; it automatically generates Twitter Cards for your pages, enables Twitter Analytics, embeds video and adds a tweet button to posts in the admin interface. There’s an option that allows you to tweak the look of embedded tweets on your site, so it matches your theme, along with a number of features that help users get started with Twitter advertising. Thanks to BYOD, many Android users are already using their Android devices for work. Today, Google finally launched its play for businesses and filled in the gaps about its Android for Work platform strategy.
