The Wall Street Journal has an architecture review of Facebook’s new Frank Gehry-designed HQ and it sounds like it’ll be a very intense place to work: The headquarters space is a soaring fishbowl, a contiguous 434,000 square feet on one floor. No one has a private office, so that everyone, including Mr. Zuckerberg, is on view, accessible. Anyone who’s worked in an open plan office – which is most people now – will know how difficult it can be to concentrate with so much hustle and bustle happening around you. Imagine how much harder that’ll be in Facebook’s vast hanger…

Microsoft-owned calendar app Sunrise has introduced a range of TV listings in a bid to help you keep on top of your favorite TV shows. Following on from the introduction of ‘Interesting Calendars’ around a year ago, the app now includes schedules of more than 90,000 programs across 2,800 TV channels in Europe and North America. To access the new listings and add specific titles to your personal calendar, you just need to head to the settings and select a list of countries and channels. The feature is available now across the company’s iOS, Android and Chrome apps. ➤ TV schedules…

Flickr wants even more of your mobile photos, with its new iOS and Android apps which launched today. The company has redesigned its entire app to look and feel more like your camera roll, to encourage you to upload the entire thing, rather than just the best bits. With Flickr offering 1 terabyte of storage to all users for free, this move is an attempt to encourage them to make the most of it. Automatically uploaded photos are shared privately by default, but Flickr makes it easy to quickly share the best shots publicly to your profile. A new timeline view…
