For the first time since the end of 2012, Apple’s iOS platform leads the way in terms of mobile OS market share in the US, according to the most recent figures from Kantar’s WorldPanel ComTech report for the last three months of 2014. Admittedly, according to the figures, iOS’ margin  over Android was pretty darn fine – just 0.1 percent – but it suggests that Apple’s iPhone 6 and 6 Plus launches last year are being received well around the world.
