When I reviewed the Galaxy Note 7, I was a little amazed at how Samsung was able to cram so many features into a phone so small for its screen size. But a report by manufacturing company Instrumental suggests that cramming is what made the phone prone to catching fire. Instrumental tore down a Note 7 to try to figure out what was going on – something Samsung has yet to provide an answer for – and suggests the phone’s design is fundamentally flawed.
