AT&T becomes the latest (and worst) to offer an unlimited data plan

We sure hope AT&T can get a signal from the top of that bandwagon. Starting tomorrow, AT&T is offering an unlimited data plan, following the lead of Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint. According to its press release, a four-line plan costs $180 for unlimited talk, text, and data. According to a CNET comparison, AT&T’s new plan wasn’t all that appealing on a line-by-line basis. At $180 for unlimited talk, text, and data, it was on par, however, with its competitors. Like its competitors, AT&T’s ‘unlimited’ plan throttles users after they’ve used 22GBs of data on one line — meaning your connection will slow down.…
