Facebook’s kicking off a voter registration drive for the UK general election
Facebook has teamed up with the Electoral Commission to show every adult user of the site in the UK a message tomorrow, reminding them to register to vote ahead of the General Election on May 7. Facebook makes the point that 27 million people in the UK visit the site daily and 35 million go there at least once a month. In the 2010 General Election, 29 million votes were cast.
