Teehan+Lax, a Toronto-based boutique design firm, has announced that it will be shutting down after 12 years to join Facebook’s design team in California. The firm’s three partners – Jon Lax, Geoff Teehan and David Gillis – are best known for their work behind blogging platform Medium and mobile and Web reader app Readability. “The challenges that we will have at Facebook are challenges that interest us.
