Android Wear gets its first big update with offline music syncing and GPS
One of the issues with wearables is that many of them need to stay connected to a smartwatch at all times. Android Wear has been no different. But an update for Android Wear just made smartwatches a little more independent. Android Wear now supports GPS sensors and syncing music to watches that support Bluetooth headsets for untethered listening. If you work out, this means you can track your run while listening to music without having to drag your smartphone with you while you exercise.
