Long Island Tea Corp was one of those companies that randomly added the word “blockchain” to the name of their business to seem cool (and maybe bump up its stock) – but it appears its name change may be more sinister than first thought. The Federal Bureau of Investigation suspects Long Blockchain Corp., as it is now known, may be guilty of insider trading, Quartz reports. According to a request for a search warrant, the FBI is also searching for evidence of securities fraud. Johannesburg’s power supplier gets the better of ransomware attackers

A ransomware infection at one of South Africa‘s electricity providers left some city residents of Johannesburg without any power. City Power, one of the largest power suppliers in Johannesburg, said the attack encrypted all its databases, applications and network, leading to a blackout of its IT systems. City Power will continue to work throughout the night to recover the systems and restore remaining applications. PUBG’s lite version for India works on budget phones and comes in under 400MB

Popular battle royale game, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), just released a lite mobile version for India. The lite version for Android an installation package of 400MB, that’s just a fourth of the size of the normal variant which is sized at 1.6GB. Tencent Games and PUBG Corp, which developed the game, says it has redesigned the app with Unreal Engine 4 to make it work with phones that have less than 2GB RAM.
