Samsung doesn’t slow down. It’s only been half a year since Samsung announced the Galaxy Watch Active, but it’s already getting ready to release the Active 2. It’ll start at $280 when it launches on September 27, but Samsung is keeping the earlier model around at a lower price. If you’re not familiar with the original Galaxy Active, it’s a smartwatch running on Samsung‘s proprietary Tizen Wearable OS – you won’t see Google’s Wear OS here. Still, Samsung has built up a fair number of apps for its smartwatches, as well as custom health features. Considering most people seem to…

Five 3D printing myths dispelled

Aug05

The first conviction for 3D printing a firearm was recently reported in London, not long after 3D printed masks were used to trick face recognition. Should we be afraid? 3D printing refers to a range of digital fabrication processes that build objects directly from computer models, without expensive tooling, in layers of material. Although 3D printing processes vary widely, including melting metal powder with lasers or hardening liquid plastic “ink” with ultraviolet light, most people tend to think of 3D printing desktop machines that melt spools of plastic. Since these are often built or designed by enthusiasts, they are very…

The past two decades have been marked by a period of sharp peaks and troughs for Brazil, the largest country in Latin America. On one hand, the country has undergone an impressive economic transformation, which led to Forbes in 2012 naming Brazil “one of the most entrepreneurial countries in the world”. In 2000 Brazil’s GDP was ranked around 11th in the world at roughly $655.5 billion, and today it’s in the eighth position at roughly $2.5 trillion. However in the last five years, Brazil has experienced an economic recession while corruption at the highest levels of business and government has stoked…

Welcome to Hard Fork Basics, a collection of tips, tricks, guides, and info to keep you up to date in the cryptocurrency and blockchain world. Earlier this year, Bitcoin was setting records for 12-month price highs. It’s also been demonstrating market dominance as it affirms its spot as the number one cryptocurrency. But there’s another metric, hash rate, which has been reaching all time highs this year. But what is it? What does it mean? And why do people regard it as a measure of the network‘s health? This sting ray-shaped vibrator is the non-gendered future of sex toys

Aug05
by Sindy Cator on August 5, 2019 at 1:35 pm
Posted In: Around the Web

Throughout history, the sex toy industry has been traditionally dominated by men. The lack of female and non-binary influence in the design of sex toys has led to the idea that it’s a simple game of “one-size-fits-all,” which obviously isn’t the case.  But now, in light of an increased cultural awareness of non-binary gender identities, innovative sex toy designs are making pleasure more accessible for everyone. One company striving to make the sex toy industry more inclusive is Wild Flower, a non-binary sex toy retailer and digital community providing sex education to those who have been overlooked by the adult industry.  Founded by…
