Regular readers of TNW will know we have a regular column called CHEAP. There we share interesting deals on tech products across the Internet. Most of the stuff unearthed has some actual practical value: like phones and tablets. This isn’t one of those. In researching today’s post, I stumbled across the Sharp TM-20 TelMail E-Mail Organizer, which has dropped in price from $118.31 to $50. This device was introduced over twenty years ago, and at the time, allowed people to access email without the need for a computer. This pocketable device came with an acoustic coupler modem. Covering consumer tech is always great fun. From phones to semiconductors, innovation happens at a breakneck pace. Each day, I get to see the world change in a subtle but profound way. Qoobo is probably the weirdest thing I’ve ever set eyes on within the context of a trade show, which are usually tedious corporate affairs. I’ll try and describe it for you. Traversing modern life, which is narrated by the written word in places like menus and roadsigns, is sometimes a challenge for West. But recently, the creator has found help from an unlikely place: a new Android app called PocketVision from Honor, a…
