Two men have pleaded guilty for conspiring to launder money using Bitcoin after selling marijuana on the dark web. Connor Brooke and Aidan Curry, 25 and 23 respectively, gave their plea in federal court yesterday. The pair agreed to forfeit “tens of thousands of dollars worth of cash, cryptocurrency, and [computer hardware]” that was used to commit the crime, the Times of San Diego reports. Brooke and Curry ran a series of dark web enterprises, one of which sold marijuana while the other allowed  people to buy cryptocurrency for cash at a premium. In a text message, Curry described the perpetrators’ cryptocurrency transfer…

Last week, Uber recently rolled out a bunch of safety features including an optional PIN number to authenticate your ride. But it might roll out more stuff soon. According to app researcher Jane Manchun Wong, the ride-hailing company is testing a feature in its mobile app that lets you record audio if you feel uncomfortable during your trip. The screenshot posted by Wong on Twitter suggests once you hit record, the audio will be captured in the background and sent to Uber Uber is testing “Record Audio” in case the rider is uncomfortable with the ride pic.twitter.com/btC5C0F3CN — Jane Manchun Wong (@wongmjane)…

For those of you who just checked your iPhones or iPads and saw you have another software update available — no, you’re not going crazy. Apple today pushed out iOS 13.1.2, which will hopefully bring the number of bugs down to manageable levels. iOS 13.1.2 is the latest in a line of rapid fire updates, iOS 13.1.1 having come out last Friday and iOS 13.1 having come out just three days before that. The update notes state iOS 13.1.2 fixes a few major bugs, including the flashlight or the camera not working.
