Virtual reality got a bit cooler today as Skydance Interactive launched an early-access beta update for its Archangel shooter, called Hellfire. Available on HTC Vive or Oculus Rift, Archangel puts players inside of a giant mech – a human-piloted robot – and tasks them with defending the world from hordes of evil bad guys. Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt today threw some shade at Elon Musk during a speech about AI, saying the Space X CEO didn’t “understand the benefits that this technology will provide.” Here we go again.
