It’s safe to say that CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 is the most highly anticipated game in development right now. The upcoming title from the team behind The Witcher 3 has game aficionados around the globe in its grip, despite not showing even a second of gameplay footage. It’s been kept tightly under wraps after the backlash from The Witcher 3’s overtly ambitious early showings. CD Projekt Red is showing a lengthy gameplay demo to the press though. Chipotle is good at two things: 1.) making tasty burritos, and 2.) poisoning the people who eat its burritos with norovirus. But now it’s branching into new territory. Buzzfeed News reports the casual Mexican chain is launching a new startup accelerator. According to Buzzfeed News’ Vanessa Wong, Chipotle, which is valued at roughly $14.2 billion, wants to invest in startups working a variety of sectors that intersect with its key interests. These include alternative farming, agritech, food waste management, and plant and alternative products. The chain is working with Uncharted — a Denver-based social benefit accelerator — in order to…

Nintendo wants you to play with your friends

Some of my most cherished memories involve crowding round a TV with friends and playing multiplayer games until the early hours of the morning. While this used to be the only way a group could play on a console, the success of online gaming has relegated a lot of local-multiplayer experiences. Yes, they still exist, but aren’t a major focus for most developers. Unless you’re Nintendo. At Gamescom, I got the chance to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Mario Party and Diablo III on the Nintendo Switch ahead of their launch. And, well, I had a hell of a time. Uhhh, why? Because I like…
