Warning! There is a strong chance this will give readers a strong sense of déjà vu. Another EOS decentralized app (dApp) has severely botched an airdrop. This time, fledging gambling platform Se7ens is in the spotlight, after a community member managed to credit himself with a billion tokens by exploiting its poorly made smart contract. Se7ens, an EOS-powered dice game, announced it would be distributing exactly half of its seven billion token supply to EOS holders. Developers were meant to send 10,000 tokens to each participating account, but instead were forced into sending so much more. Below, we can see Se7en’s smart contract ‘mistakenly’…

Algorithms and AI are getting good at writing. Burger King (kinda) used it in an ad series and the technology has even written entire scripts. It’s become so widespread even I can do it. Yes, moi. I recently discovered the Voicebox app from Botnik, a service that lets you upload a text file from which it can produce new sentences in that vein. The question is what to use it on. Well, as I’m a product writer, it’s got to be a product, right? So, I put my hand in my box pile and pulled out a flashlight I’d been sent to review…

Argentina might be getting 150 Bitcoin ATMs by early 2019

Argentina is being eyed as prime territory for expansion by Bitcoin ATM manufacturers, which appear to be preying on the country’s vulnerable fiat currency. The South American nation could get 30 new fully operational Bitcoin ATMs by the end of this year, with expectations this number will increase to over 1,600 by the end of 2019, reports Reuters. US-based Bitcoin ATM manufacturer, Odyssey Group, is aiming to have 150 Bitcoin dispensing machines installed in Argentina before the year is out. Most of these will be online early next year. The country had its first Bitcoin ATM installed in Buenos Aires…
