Good morning, it’s Monday – or should that be Moonday? Either way, you know what that means. It’s time for the weekend’s cryptocurrency and blockchain news that we would have covered had we actually been in the office. But we were too busy hodling all weekend to do anything. Anyway, here it is: 1. From blockchain to blockchan. It appears infamous image board, 4Chan, has started accepting four types of cryptocurrency: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Ethereum. 2. It turns out Soulja Boy has been cranking it on Bitcoin and Litecoin recently. On his latest album, “Young Drako,” a track…

Google is set to launch a bunch of new gadgets on October 9, including its Pixel 3 flagship phones. We’re attending the event and will bring you all the news worth knowing about; here’s everything we’re expecting to see in just a few hours from now. Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL You’ve probably seen all there is to see with the third-gen Pixels – heck, Engadget’s China team allegedly got its hands on one. The larger of the two is almost certainly getting a notch cut out of its display, and they’re both getting single rear cameras. That speaks…

How to avoid getting screwed by the latest file-deleting Windows 10 update

Microsoft announced an update to Windows 10, along with a bunch of Surface-branded devices at its October 2 event. Just a few days later, plenty of users started reporting that some of their desktop files were automatically deleted after they installed the update. That included files stored in the default folders for documents and pictures, among others. Sampling of Feedback Hub reports of data deletion from as early as 3 months ago pic.twitter.com/xlfsuEbh1d — Rafael Rivera (@WithinRafael) October 6, 2018 Oh my god. My “Documents” folder got deleted somehow causing *all* of my personal documents (Word docs, spreadsheets, etc) to…
