Audible finally brings reasonably priced audiobooks to India

At long last, Amazon launched its Audible store for audiobooks in India last week, making its library of more than 2,00,000 spoken word titles available across the country at reasonable prices. You’ll need an Amazon account to register, and as in other countries, an Audible membership nets you one credit a month which lets you purchase an audiobook that you can keep forever. Okay, this is just getting silly now. The retro console craze is still in full swing, with ever-more obscure mini-devices joining the roster alongside the likes of the NES Classic, the PlayStation Classic, and the Atari VCS. I’ve been lukewarm on the concept in the past, but it’s apparent these toys aren’t wearing out their welcome any time soon.
