During my countless hours on the internet, I find myself subscribing to lots of potentially interesting newsletters. More often than not, they end up deep in my email inbox, unread. The team at Stoop has a solution. They developed an app which acts just like a Google reader, but for newsletters. Stoop, available both on Android and iOS, lets you discover and subscribe to newsletters in an easy, podcast-like way. When signing up, the app creates an email ID for you with an “@stoop.com” address, so you can sign up to newsletters on the web. This new email address declutters…

This company promises to recover files from your locked iPhone – but it won’t help the FBI

DriveSavers, a company known for its data recovery services, announced that it can offer “passcode lockout recovery service,” which means it can unlock your secured iPhone. That’s notable because it’s damn near impossible to unlock an iOS device without the passcode or access to the owners’ biometric signatures for authentication. The agency then spent $900,000 to break into the phone with a piece of software. Now, DriveSavers has claimed in its blog post that it is offering a first-of-its-kind service to consumers who have forgotten device passwords, those locked out after too many incorrect attempts, and for all iPhone users…

The most recent example of this is Hër, a set of delightfully effete on-ear Bluetooth headphones, which we’re reviewing today. But wait, I hear you say. Matt, you’re a bloke.
