Big time cryptocurrency traders in Japan could be getting a letter from the tax man next year. The Japanese government is developing a system to catch those who are not paying the appropriate taxes on the profits made from cryptocurrency trading, according to local news. According to sources close to the matter, the system would allow the Japanese National Tax Agency (NTA) to request the cryptocurrency transaction information of individuals thought to be evading the tax. Microsoft is reportedly building a Chromium-based browser to replace Edge

Windows Central reports that Microsoft is working on a replacement for its Edge web browser – which is the default option in Windows 10 – that will use Google’s Chromium base under the hood. If that’s legit, it’ll see Microsoft swap out the EdgeHTML engine it built from scratch for the one that’s part of the open source Chromium base, and powers Google Chrome, Opera, and Brave.
