Microsoft launches its Clarity web analytics tool for A/B testing and visualizing user sessions

To help webmasters understand how visitors interact with their sites, Microsoft has launched its new Clarity analytics tool in beta today. Set to rival the likes of Optimizely, Google Optimize and Visual Web Optimizer, Clarity lets you run A/B tests, and play back visualizations of users’ experiences and behavior patterns on your site. The tool should not only help you understand what your visitors see, but also debug errors and spot usability issues. The company says that reviewing Clarity sessions helped it discover that some folks who were having trouble with Bing were in fact using browsers infected with malware:…

Google is making it easier for its users to give back to the community by introducing donations through its Play store. Android users in select countries can now contribute to causes they believe in using the same payment methods they’ve associated with their Google accounts. The search giant is partnering with 10 nonprofit organizations to kickstart the project. These include the American Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders USA, Girls Who Code, UNICEF, World Food Program USA, and Save the Children. Head to play.google.com/donate on your Android phone, and choose any organization to learn more and donate to support its work. Google…

Samsung’s Galaxy S10 will reportedly launch on February 20 and cost up to $1,765

Gizmodo UK reports that Samsung’s upcoming flagship phone, the Galaxy S10, will arrive on February 20 next year, ahead of the annual Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona that month. That’s pretty much in line with previous rumors we’d heard last month about Samsung’s 10th anniversary model. The range is said to include a 5.8-inch S10 Lite – aka the Beyond 0 – with a flat screen instead of a curved one, a standard S10 measuring 6.1 inches, and an S10 Plus at 6.4 inches.
