You may know Poland for its unpronounceable surnames and sour cabbage in absolutely every meal possible, however, this Central European nation is so much more than pickled vegetables and delicious comfort food. In recent years, Poland has been receiving more attention on the startup scene and in tech news. Not only because Poles are the 4th largest audience of the HBO series Silicon Valley, but because it’s proving to be one of the most innovative up-and-coming startup hubs of the CEE region. With a vast talent pool of developers and data analysts, the former Soviet satellite state has seen an…

Logitech is bringing back its best gaming mouse with essential upgrades

More than a decade ago, Logitech delighted gamers with the MX518, a high-precision mouse tooled for players who wanted performance without all the bells and whistles – and a modest price point. It’s now reviving the classic with a couple of upgrades that should make it worth a look for today’s gaming enthusiasts. After a few years of slowdown, it looks like China’s back to hacking US entities, according to a report by Crowdstrike, a cybersecurity firm. The report notes China’s collecting intelligence for its “Made in China 2025” plan that will make the country a world leader in manufacturing. In 2015, then-US President Barack Obama and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed that neither government would endorse or engage in state-sponsored cyber-espionage to steal info from the other. At that time, Obama said that the US will not sponsor corporate cybertheft, and hoped that China will follow suit. A report released by the US Counterintelligence and…

Following months of anticipation and numerous teasers, Binance has finally launched its decentralized cryptocurrency exchange (DEX) powered by its own blockchain, Binance Chain. But hold your horses before you get too excited: Binance DEX is only rolling out to a dedicated testnet for the time being. Still, users will now be able to try out the new trading platform. Among other things, traders can create a wallet and exchange tokens. “Binance DEX is a decentralized exchange with a decentralized network of nodes, where you hold your own private keys and manage your own wallet,” said Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao. “With…
