Disney resurrects Lucasfilm Games for a mysterious Star Wars project

Disney appears to be reviving Lucasfilms Games on the sly, hiring people to work on “interactive products.” The job postings are vague, but we can surmise Disney might be making a new Star Wars game. That’s exciting not just because, you know, Star Wars, but because it could mean Disney is getting back into games after all these years. “Lucasfilms Games.” To quote an old master, that’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time… a long time. It’s the original name of LucasArts, the legendary studio that developed games in the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises, as well as several of…

Yep, today Apple released its new pair of AirPods, something you can read about in detail here. While the updates are undoubtedly good, I’m disappointed that Apple didn’t do more. I’m a regular AirPod user and, while I like them a lot, the earbuds could easily be better. In many ways, the newest pair feels like AirPods 1.5, instead of the 2.0 version I was dreaming of. Don’t worry though – I’m here. So, Apple design team, pick up your pencils and crayons, I’m about to give you the secrets to making the next set of AirPods properly good. Stop them…

Ugh, the Gregorian calendar is so boring. That’s why we’re disrupting monthly series with a lunar cycle-based series about the best patents of the last synodic month, picked by the PatentYogi team. Get ready when that moon gets gibbous, y’all. This March-ish roundup lands on the icky Worm Moon ! Since my last post, the US patent office issued over 13,028 patents and published over 13,113 patent applications. Each patent asset adds a little something new to the human knowledge base. As I cannot list all these patent assets here, the PatentYogi team has selected the five most interesting patent assets. Enjoy! Patent…
